Yelahanka is one of the largest lakes in the Bangalore North zone. It has two inlets, one outlet, a wetland and an island. The Puttenahalli and Herohalli lakes are connected to it upstream, and the Jakkur lake is located downstream. It is situated in the Nagawara Hebbal Valley.

The Lake is open 24hrs a day but it is advisable not to visit the place at night. Since it would be dark, you may not be able to find the path. There is no entry fee but you may have to pay for the parking charges. You can get to Yelahanka lake by Bus, Train or Metro.
